Word is spreading like wildfire. We’ve heard from thousands of parents looking to learn more about the fun and affordable way their youngsters can play golf. Communities are signing up to start multiple leagues, eager to administer the USGLL program.
National Expansion
The momentum that the USGLL has been building over the last two years has become a tidal wave of enthusiasm. We have qualified representatives from over 35 locations interested in starting affiliate leagues. This fall, new leagues will be up and running in New York, Illinois and Texas with more being added to Northern and Southern California, Florida and the Carolinas.
Growing the Game with a Growing Opportunity
The nonprofit USGLL is committed to growing the game of golf by making the game fun for everyone and accessible to all. Over the last several seasons, our sponsors have benefited from the patronage of USGLL players. Over 25% of our league members purchased new sets of junior golf clubs. After seeing how much their children enjoyed the program, 12% of parents became enthused enough to return to the game while others were so inspired they began playing for the first time.
A Time of Transition
The USGLL is gaining support from local businesses, community service organizations and national corporations. In the next few months you can look forward to more exciting news as dozens of affiliates across the United States start gearing up for the Spring 2010 season and we announce the addition of several more National Sponsors.
How You Can Help
We are working diligently to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to participate in the game of golf through the USGLL, but we can’t do it by ourselves. We need you.
Help us by volunteering, starting a league, sponsoring, or simply making a meaningful – and greatly appreciated – donation to the USGLL. Any, and all, of these commitments will help us grow the game for generations to come.
